Kolbjørn HultríkR was a norse/viking era warrior. While trekking through the mountains in an unfamiliar region, he fell a great distance and was gravely injured, landing near a tarn with marshy edges. His companions were too far to hear him and he was lost to the world. Determined to survive, giving up was not in his vocabulary. Nearby he happened upon an abandoned otter pup, having been left by the mother due to a birth defect. Alone, wounded and weak with hunger, the otter would have made a terrific life-save of a meal, but something deep within the man stirred, telling him that his injuries were much worse than he'd allowed himself to believe, and that his last task in life was to protect the abandoned pup. For a few days he did all he could in his handicapped state to help the young otter, keeping it warm and feeding it crushed insects, as he knew not what else to give the baby. As both their strengths began to fade however, a shadowy spirit appeared from the edge of the forest. Would this mysterious being assist him? Save the otter he'd dedicated his last moments to protect and defend?

Transformed by Ikkit, this esk saw this as a gift from the spirits, and pulled the spirit of the otter pup along with him, promising to protect him forever. Once burly yet gentle with the pup, his seemingly contradictory self lives on in his current form. A fungi morph that looks like an aquatic morph, a Forest esk who looks like Fresh Waters. He is a bundle of contradictions and easily confuses those he meets. 

His voice is very deep and gruff, and he has a heavy Nordic accent.
